Wheeler Tanks Mfg., Inc. runs a Hypertherm HPR 260 on an Alltra carriage over a 12’ wide x 45’ long cutting table. The HPR 260 plasma can cut thin gauge to 1” thick carbon steel and stainless steel. Our parts department programs the shells to be cut in the flat form before rolling into a cylinder. This provides consistent nozzle locations and helps improve assembly time.
